Umm, what? First of all, Craigslist in New Hampshire has to be like, 40% beater Subarus and Volvos, 40% lifted trucks and jeeps in various condition, 15% “normal” cars, 4.999% scams, and .001% modified “1800HP” Lamborghinis with “$375,000 invested but selling for low price of just $229995” lol. The price reads like a
deal of the week
on an off-lease Nissan Rogue with just a few to many digits in the middle.
I have never seen a Lamborghini on Craigslist in NH; wait I’ve never SEEN ONE in New Hampshire, at least not where I live.
I have so many questions.
Also, Bulls**t on the claimed HP figures.

I don’t get these ads...what Lamborghini(or any car over $100k) buyer is on Craigslist?

Ooh! A craigslist search for nonsense I hadn’t thought of! Here’s a few Boston gems:
“invested”: https://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/d/gto-twin-turbo-402-stroker/6319548539.html
“divorce”: https://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/d/1986-humvee-65-gep-engine/6324716738.html
“custom”: https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/d/custom-4x4-project/6320339146.html

Here’s what I found for “invested”. This gem has “way more than 1700 invested” https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/cto/d/1999-honda-civic/6336958581.html
I really like th i-VTEC, and Magen badges, in a bonestock, non V-TEC LX with an automatic, that’s about 3 years to old to have i-VTEC. Overall the price seems reasonable tho, if you can handle having an automatic Civic.

EXACTLY!! Especially a local one where there are NO others like it.

I don’t know about the rest of it, but the power numbers can be realistic for these cars with that much boost. Note it only makes a 1000 on pump gas.

lol. At least he didn’t “invest” in ruining the interior. But you’re right, not a terrible price. My sister had nearly the same car, and while she didn’t love it, it was a very good car (just boring).

ha! I love “invested” because unless it’s one of about 50 cars in the world that actually appreciate in value, you’re not “investing” in a car. “Custom” is always a hit. I haven’t tried “divorce” but that’s pretty brilliant, too.

Yeah, I had a 99 Civic sedan as well, bit it was a Manual EX, that engine and trans make a huge difference. It’s wasn’t fast, but it was quick enough to be fun.

A friend of mine recommended “divorce” because there’s usually a bunch of normal cars that are sold quickly and below market value. That said, it is a treasure trove of sellers who think their cars are waaay more interesting or valuable than they are.

my immediate thought on seeing this was “who the fuck has $375,000 in cash laying around in Nashua NH”
![]() 10/13/2017 at 12:14 |

Same place is selling a $65k GTR. I guess it’s close enough to Boston? Also, crack pipe

God yes. I desperately wanted my sister’s to be a manual, and so did she.

That is where I will find myself a cheap minivan if we decide to go that route!

$65k to finance a GT-R is about $365,000 less than the cash on hand for this build lol

I love it when people put cars up for sale that have been built, but take no pictures of the engine, dyno charts, receipts, NOTHING.
There aren’t even any interior shots.

you just aren’t rich enough to afford that VP IMPORT GAS. Peasant.

Also, I will throw in one from the other end of the spectrum:

I think you underestimate how much power these things can make with the proper modifications and a reputable shop. TX2K events typically have a bunch of 1600+ WHP V10 Lamborghinis in attendance.
Underground Racing offers a 2000+ WHP package that probably costs as much as a then-new Gallardo. http://www.undergroundracing.com/vehicles/lamborghini-gallardo.html

The guy who owns Tuscan Kitchen in Salem has a bunch of Ferraris, Lambos, and a McLaren along with a transporter to take them to the track. He does a car show every year there and 1/4 of the cars are his. There’s also an Aventador in Portsmouth, a couple Ferraris in Dover and a pair of McLaren F1s in Wolfeboro. There are plenty of exotics in NH, I wouldn’t doubt for a second that this car and others are in Nashua. Dean Kamen lives in that area, Id bet he has a collection. There are plenty of people with a lot of money in NH. No income tax brings em in.

I live in Nashua, and I have seen that thing on the main drag. There are actually a couple Lambos seen around here regularly
